Travel Hack! A #Freeb posted this photo and I asked if I could share it with all of you! She was packing for a roadtrip and used this brilliant idea of taking those plastic crafting boxes and making them SNACK BOXES!! Each child has their own box with their name on it and it is packed with carrots, strawberries, crackers, nuts, trail mix, granola bars, raspberries…the sky is the limit! No more fighting over who gets what snack, no more wrappers all over the car. Plus with this system you can buy a lot of these items in BULK instead of the smaller packages, saving you money! #CaniGetAHeckYeah?? Have any of you tried a travel snack system like this? Today’s “Travel Hack,” by mwa. Tired of always mushing the bristols of your toothbrush, even when you use the commercially made “protective” brush covers? Clean up an old TicTac container and slide your brush in through the dispenser opening. Make sure the tip of the brush is pressed firmly against the bottom of the box, then tape the handle to the dispenser lid so that the brush won’t twist around in transit. P.S. I rarely ever throw out TicTac containers. They can be reused as smaller containers for medication for your purse, or can hold small earrings or other jewelry while you’re on the go. I scored this pile of samples from my Mama. I like these. I never refuse trial sizes from anywhere and also tear them out of magazines, because these mini-packs of lotions, shampoos and shower gels are so practical for traveling. They hardly take up room, weigh virtually nothing, can be carried on to flights and I just throw the pouch away when it’s empty and don’t have to take any containers back home.
